There is no accommodation included for the night of the 16th of March. If you would like to book accommodation for that evening please contact Arminel Lodge directly at reservations@katleisure.co.za. Let them know you are part of Forest Boogie and they will give you the special rate.
E-Bikes.
We have a designated charging facility for all e-bikes and all your devices.
We now allow for E-Bikes and Traditional bikes to pair up in the same team and compete in the E-Bike class. It’s not designed to be a race but we do have timing and trophies for those who can’t resist the urge to race.
Race Registration.
Registration is at Arminel Hotel.
Riders within a Team must register together.
No late registrations will be allowed unless through prior arrangement with organisers.
Race Briefing.
Pre Race Briefing will be at Arminel Hotel on Friday, 14 March, from 19:00 – 20:00. Attendance is essential as vital information will be communicated
Each evening after dinner, we do a quick Prize Giving for the day and a Briefing for the next day’s ride.
Cancellation Policy.
A R1,000pp non-refundable deposit is required to secure your entry. Riders wanting to cancel will forfeit the following part of their entry fee:
- 75% of the total entry fee (less deposit) will be retained for admin costs and the balance refunded, if written notice via email is received before 1 December 2024.
- 50% of total entry fee (less deposit) will be refunded if written notice via email is received before 1 January 2025.
- 25% of the total entry fee (less deposit) will be refunded if written notice via email is received before 1 February 2025.
- After 15 February 2025, 0% will be refunded but riders will still be able to receive their goodie bags.
Rallye Raid will take place regardless of weather, and will only be cancelled, re-routed or stopped for safety reasons. In this event, entry fees are not refundable but will be transferable to the new event date. The organisers reserve the right to increase the cost, by no more than 15%, should the event be postponed for whatever reason.
